Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the PRISM Application and related services provided by the Police Research Institute for Systems Modernisation (PRISM Wing), Andhra Pradesh Police Department.
1. Authorized Use
PRISM is an official platform designed for secure communication and collaboration within the Andhra Pradesh Police ecosystem. Use of this platform is restricted to authorized personnel and departments. Unauthorized access or sharing of system credentials is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary or legal action.
2. Data Security & Confidentiality
Users must handle all communications and data within PRISM as classified and confidential. Information exchanged through this system shall not be shared with unauthorized individuals or external entities without proper written authorization.
3. User Responsibilities
- Users must log in only with their assigned credentials.
- Devices accessing PRISM must be protected by secure passwords and kept updated.
- Any suspected security incident or unauthorized access must be reported immediately to the PRISM Wing.
4. Monitoring & Compliance
All activity on the PRISM platform may be monitored and logged by the PRISM Wing to ensure compliance, security, and system integrity. By using this system, you consent to such authorized monitoring and auditing.
5. Prohibited Activities
- Using PRISM for personal, political, or non-official communication.
- Attempting to modify, hack, or disable the system or its components.
- Sharing sensitive data externally without authorization.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property, logos, designs, and system components within PRISM are owned by the Andhra Pradesh Police Department. Unauthorized reproduction or adaptation of the platform is not permitted.
7. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to maintain system availability and security, the PRISM Wing shall not be liable for any data loss, communication delay, or disruption resulting from technical, network, or force majeure circumstances.
8. Updates to Terms
The PRISM Wing reserves the right to modify these Terms as necessary to reflect operational or legal requirements. Users will be informed through official communication channels about significant updates.
