This system is for authorised law enforcement use only. PrismApp is a secure communication platform exclusively for Andhra Pradesh Police personnel. Unauthorised access, use, or distribution is strictly prohibited and punishable under law.
1. About This Policy
This acceptable use policy sets out the rules for using PrismApp software and services. It applies to all police personnel using the platform.

Agreement
By using PrismApp, you confirm that you:
- Are an authorised Andhra Pradesh Police officer or staff member
- Accept the terms in this acceptable use policy
- Agree to comply with all applicable laws and police regulations
- Will use the system only for official law enforcement purposes

2. Account Security
- Never share your login credentials with anyone
- Use strong, unique passwords
- Enable two-factor authentication when available
- Enable App Lock (Face ID / Touch ID / PIN) on your device
- Immediately report suspected account compromise
- Log out from shared or public devices
- Regularly review your device list and remove unused devices
We may deactivate your account immediately if you fail to comply with security requirements or if your account is compromised.

You may use PrismApp for:
- Official law enforcement communications
- Inter-departmental coordination
- Emergency response and officer safety
- Case discussions and investigations (within authorisation levels)
- Administrative communications
- Training and educational purposes
- Information sharing with authorised personnel
4. Prohibited Uses
The following activities are forbidden and may result in account termination and possible criminal prosecution:
- Personal communications unrelated to official duties
- Sharing classified or sensitive information beyond authorised recipients
- Any commercial or business purposes
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
- Discrimination based on any protected characteristics
- Unauthorised disclosure of investigation details
- Sharing false or misleading information
- Political activities or partisan communications
- Any illegal activities or violations of law
- Circumventing security measures or access controls
Technical Prohibitions
- Attempting to hack, compromise, or reverse-engineer the system
- Installing unauthorised software or modifications
- Attempting to access data beyond your authorisation level
- Sharing system vulnerabilities publicly (report to support@prism-appolice.in)
- Using the system to transmit malware or harmful code
5. Content Standards
All communications must:
- Be professional and appropriate for law enforcement
- Comply with AP Police codes of conduct
- Be accurate and truthful
- Respect the confidentiality of investigations
- Follow proper classification and handling procedures
6. Monitoring and Compliance
Notice: All activities on PrismApp are logged and may be monitored for security, compliance, investigation support, and quality assurance purposes.
7. Enforcement
Violations may result in:
- Immediate account suspension or termination
- Removal of content
- Formal disciplinary action per AP Police procedures
- Criminal prosecution for serious violations
- Reporting to appropriate authorities
